Upload Word and PDF Files from Computer to iCloud

You must have known that iPhone Photo Transfer is a great helper to extract iPhone photos shot with iPhone and downloaded from websites to computer. Then how about uploading .word and .pdf document to iCloud? If you have word or PDF files on your computer, and want to upload them to iCloud for sharing with friends or syncing on iOS devices. Part 1: Upload PDF Files from Computer to iCloud

Currently, PDF files can be read with iBooks app on iOS devices. I think this is a big relief for new users who are not familiar with Apple operating system, because now they can sync PDF files to their newly bought iOS devices, such as iPad, with iCloud service.

Here is how you can upload PDF files from computer to iCloud:

1. Firstly, you need to make sure several things about PDF:
1) The PDF files can be dragged and dropped into iBook app.
2) The PDF files must be available to read on iBook directly as iBook files.
2. Run iCloud app on PC or Mac, log in with your Apple ID.
3. Sync PDF files to iCloud. Done!

Part 2: Upload Word from Computer to iCloud

Go to the main page for www.iCloud.com from your computers browser, and click the little iCloud icon top left side of the internet browser. Then click on the iWork icon and then choose the application for the document you would like to upload. Choose Pages. Then you can either drag and drop the Word document you want uploaded onto the open iCloud browser from your desktop or click the cog icon top right and browse your computer to locate the document you wish to upload.

Another way to upload Word from computer to iCloud: Convert Word to ePub format, then put the converted file to iTunes, then sync them to iPad, iPhone, iPod touch. Now you can read on iOS devices or upload them to iCloud on iOS devices.
